Used Book Sale Supports OCAD Environmental Essays

The OCAD Student Press will be holding a Used Book Sale, Sunday November 2, 2008 at the Gladstone Hotel to raise money for their upcoming publication Shift Perspective - a collection of student essays, many of which focus on the humanitarian and environmental responsibility of designers.What makes the OCAD Student Press so different? Well, the group is a student run coalition articles are written by design students on their final year design thesis. The books for the sale are all from The Monkeys Paw, a local used bookstore. Used hardcover books are $2 each and used paperbacks are $1 each. If you want your own copy of Shift Perspective , it'll cost you $20, but you will also get a free used book of your choice. The event starts at 12pm and runs until 5pm.
