Today Would Have Been Carl Sagan's 76th Birthday

Billions and Billions of Thanks for Your Life's Work!
Today would have been the 76th birthday of Carl Sagan, a great popularizer of science, as well as an astronomer, astrophysicist, author, and cosmologist. If you are not familiar with doctor Sagan, his Wikipedia page contains all the info you need and I won't rehash it here. All I want to highlight is that he was an extraordinary person, the kind that we need more of to make the world a better place and make the general public interested in science & the environment. Today's a good day to go pick up a Carl Sagan book at the public library. Or at least, watch the Pale Blue Dot video above. Hat tip to Elephant Journal.
