Super Shorts 2011: eXtinction (potentially NSFW) by SRmanitou

To learn that African lion populations have decreased by 50 percent in three decades is shocking. To hear that they could be extinct in as little as 15 years is even more alarming. When such significant environmental changes are mapped across a single person's lifetime, it becomes clear that degradation and destruction are spinning out of control.

It is this personal approach to conveying the severity of the planet's situation that Summer Rayne Oakes and Director Clayton Haskell have taken in their short film "eXtinction."

The film is currently up for both an Audience Choice Award and Best Editing Award at DailyMotion.

One final note: The film does contain some nudity that is likely Not Safe For Work (NSFW) if you're in an office.
