ReadyMade: How to Make [Almost] Everything

From our friends at ReadyMade Magazine comes the similarly-themed book for the DIY-er on your list. Encouraging readers to [re]make stuff from the clutter that comes from everday life, the book is full of tips on how to turn miscellaneous leftover junk into cool, functional gear for home and life. Tips in the book include, but are certainly not limited to, making a chopstick clock and colander light sconce; at its heart, though, the message is to think creatively about using resources and your "stuff" more efficiently. Also included are some fun, how-to tips that run the gamut from whimsical (how to write a love note) to practical (how to self publish). Good stuff, available at the ReadyMade Store, Powell's Books and Amazon. ::ReadyMade via ::MoCo Loco
