Jargon Watch: Workations Are The New Staycations

North Americans have never been good at achieving a proper work-life balance, and could learn a lot from the French. Now, thanks to always improving technology, it is hard to get a real vacation at all. Instead, we get Workations. Andrew Sullivan points to a survey that shows that fully two-thirds of Americans will actually work during their vacations:

Sixty-six percent of the 5,000 people surveyed said they will check and respond to email during their time off and 29 percent expect they may have to attend meetings virtually while on vacation.
