anthropogensis thinks golf may be the greenest sport:

Since it actually has trees as part of the game (a natural 'hazard'). Obviously you'd have to put Motorsports down the bottom of any green list. Of course you'd have to discern between amateur and professional. the PGA wouldn't be that green compared to players going to their local golf course. the PGA flies a few hundred players, caddies and entourages around the country each week.
