From the Forums: Green Uses for Scrap Wood?

Could anyone offer suggestions or ideas for re-using scrap wood. I am employed with a small cabinet and furniture making company, and the current method of disposing of scrap wood and off-cuts is to throw it in the dumpster. We utilize a CNC machine so as to make best use of plywood sheets etc, but creating scrap wood is unavoidable even still. Are there any businesses or industries which have a use for this by-product?
