Clutchlove has a problem with his city:

Parking lots, roads, driveways, gas stations, car washes, auto parts stores. I did a rough measurement of some areas in the city I live in and found around 50% of the land is meant strictly for the automobile...This post is not meant as a complaint about the city I live in but rather just an illustration to point out amount of land we use with our cities when we really don't need to.

So what's the best way to improve land use? Join the conversation.

And check out why tackling urban sprawl is vital to good planning.
