Here's three posts in one: Stuyvesant Cove Park is a hidden gem in downtown Manhattan, a park managed by a non-profit organization run out of Solar One, New York's first solar powered building. This Tuesday (October 25) at 7PM, they are hosting a "Green Renter" lecture on one of Treehugger's favourite topics- Community Supported Agriculture. CSA's let people prepay a local farmer for a years worth of vegetables and produce. They are a great way to help local and family farms, and they put urbanites in touch with the source of their food. Green Renters in a Solar building talking about CSA's- How treehugger can you get? For more info contact Chris at 212 505 6050, neidl (at) solar1.org
