Are You Working From Home Yet?

Alex at Shedworking describes a massive increase in the numbers of people working from home, growing at five times the rate of employment overall. He quotes the Financial Times on why so many are moving home to run their own businesses:

They don't see pension benefits at work, don't get a share of company profits, so they decide to keep the value of their intellectual property to themselves. And there is an aversion to commuting." Technological developments like broadband, combined with lower costs and eco-friendliness.
