Stingaree Nightclub in San Diego is hosting weekly events titled "The Green Side of Sting" each friday in March. Each week a new, local, green group will host a green event at the club, bringing green fashion, sustainable energy and other green concepts to the young and the young at heart. The month starts out friday, March 6 when the Surfrider Foundation hosts the event with a green fashion show by Nikster. March 13 - ECOLIFE Foundation hosts the event and will talk more about bringing sustainable food, water and shelter to developing communities throughout the world. March 20 - the California Center for Sustainable Energy brings solar and other renewable energy options to the roof at Stingaree and hopefully to roofs all across San Diego. The month wraps up with Stay Classy (not of Anchorman fame) on March 27 where the group, popular for hosting green events and parties all over the city, will talk about its latest upcoming jams.

All events will be held on the open-air rooftop lounge. To be added to the guest list, you must arrive before 10:30pm and email Lauren:Stingaree Nightclub
