Hyatt to Run Two Hotels on 100% Renewables

Two Hyatt Regency hotels in the Dallas area have agreed to buy only renewable energy. This makes them the nation's largest hotel purchasers of energy from wind, solar and other renewables. Their hotels are quite large, energy intensive affairs so this impressive. The hotels will buy their power from Green Mountain Energy, which is based in Austin. Green Mountain is saying that this move is part of a growing preference for renewable energy, which they said would increase demand for wind farms.
