How Republicans in Congress Really Feel About Science (Video)

If you watched Obama's State of the Union Address last night, and you happened to be paying attention during the part where he spoke on energy policy, you might have noticed a funny thing. Obama noted the "overwhelming scientific evidence on climate change"--and Republicans in Congress responded by laughing out loud. Watch after the jump.

Yup, that's the sound of Republicans laughing at science. Guess there's nothing funnier than an overwhelming scientific consensus, huh? If someone mentioned gravitation, they'd probably be rolling in the aisles.

UPDATE: My source at Climate Progress notes that this is the sound of Republicans laughing at the notion that there's a scientific consensus on climate change, but commenters below have pointed out that it may be the Democrats laughing at Republicans for not believing in science. Either way, it is revealing. And humorous.
