Global Warming Goes Prime Time

Two days from now, on Wednesday, November 2, PBS will air their documentary "Global Warming: The Signs and The Science." Hosted and narrated by treehugging planet-champion Alanis Morissette (who won an Environmental Media Award in 2003), the one-hour documentary explores what some of us think to be the most significant environmental phenomenon in the past 10,000 years. Filmed in the US, Asia and South America, the program brings the reality of climate change to life and offers viewers examples of people making a difference in their own communities. The program also explores how individuals, communities and organizations across America are creating new approaches to change the current paradigm and safeguard future generations, so do us all a favor and check it out. It's scheduled to air at 8:00 pm locally; check local listings just to be sure. For anyone that misses it, it's available to buy from PBS here. ::PBS via ::League of Conservation Voters
