Climate Patriots Offer a Military Perspective on Climate Change (Video)

From many US generals and admirals warning that climate change is a threat to our security, to Iraq war veterans calling for energy independence, members of the military have better reason than most to promote green thinking. I've just come across a video that underscores the connections between climate change, national security and patriotism in no uncertain terms. Produced by the Pew Project on National Security, Energy and Climate, It looks like this video has been around for a while, but it just crossed my radar—if you'll pardon the somewhat appropriate metaphor—thanks to Scott James of Opt Out En Masse. With "hottest year on record" headlines cropping up again (with nowhere near the frequency or prominence they deserve), it's high time we hear from those who are, and will be increasingly, on the front lines of the challenges we are creating for ourselves.
