The trend is clear

An analysis of global temperatures by NASA scientists has shown that 2013 was the 7th warmest year since 1880 (tied with 2006 and 2009). 9 out of the 10 warmest years since records began have occurred since 2000, with 2010 and 2005 ranking as the warmest.

This animation shows monthly temperature anomalies from 1880 through 2013, all in one video (notice the timeline in the bottom left -- you can see it better in HD):

If you watch it fully, you'll see a pretty clear trend, especially in the past few decades.
