Twestival a Success, Now See the charity:water Well Drilled
image via video screengrab
Back in February we were excited to talk about a twestival for charity:water, which helped raise funds to get clean drinking water to villages in developing countries. The event was a success, and now you'll want to mark your calendars for April 11-14 when you'll be able to see what the fundraising is accomplishing. From April 11 to the 14th, charity:water will show the drilling of the well that has been made possible through the twestival held a couple months ago. You'll get to see not only the drilling, but can also pose questions to villagers in the area about their lives, and hear their responses.
We'll post 4 daily videos of the drilling, and introduce you to the community you helped with your donations. Got a question for us, the drillers or the community? Email it to twestival@charitywater.org and tune in on Day 3.
It'll be a pretty incredible event. Check out charity:water's homepage for details. And if this excellent project gives you an itch to do more good, especially as Earth Day approaches, we have a great volunteer resource for you.
