"Today I was caught out on the thin ice with my feet between two ice islands. I started to lose my balance, but as quick as a flash Charlie grabbed my harness and pulled me back."

These are the words of Ann Daniels, one of the intrepid explorers currently trekking across the Arctic circle as part of the Catlin Arctic Survey 2010, an international expedition focused on what is widely considered to be the 'other' carbon problem beyond climate change...that of ocean change.

See the extraordinary conditions that these brave explorers and scientists are working in to collect data that will help us understand the imminent effects of climate change.
