Gorilla in the Greenhouse is a kids' show created by SustainLane Media to you guessed it educate kids on green issues. Their first episode was the "Great Pacific Garbage Patch" - an issue we covered here that still makes us shiver. The second episode fills kids in on what coal mining does to mountains, and why energy conservation is important.

But this cool project doesn't stop at just cartoons.Gorilla in the Greenhouse features a great website for green education. The characters in the episodes specialize in various aspects of green living and teach kids how to follow in their footsteps, and the blog features kid-friendly posts about everything from politics to holiday how-tos.
