Battle of the Rechargeable Batteries
The folks at Gizmodo have done a test of two sets of rechargeable batteries to find out which has the longer life and better recharge factors. Read on to see who wins, Duracell or Energizer.After testing out the NiMH rechargeable batteries on an LED flashlight, Gizmodo found that the Duracell batteries lasted far longer - ranging from about 5 to 6.5 hours in life compared to the 3.5 hours of Energizer.
Additionally Duracell one-ups Energizer in that its batteries come pre-charged and hold a charge for a year, compared to Energizer's 6 months.
Sounds like Energizer doesn't quite keep going and going...
