Despite all the media attention paid to some accidents, which are inevitable when you have thousands of cars on the road, it looks like Tesla customers are quite satisfied with their electric cars. Consumer Reports, the most trusted independent reviewer of products out there, had already reviewed the Model S, giving it a score of 99 out of 100 and calling it the 'best car we've ever tested'.

But that was just CR's own review. What about Tesla owners? What do they think? Many filled out Consumer Reports' survey, and the results are just as impressive:

"Owners of the Tesla Model S gave it the highest owner-satisfaction score Consumer Reports has seen in years: 99 out of 100," the magazine said.

After the Model S, the Porsche Boxster came in second place with a score of 95. The Porsche 911 and Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid both got 91. The Volt had also done very well in the same survey in 2012.
