Scion Mobile Kitchen Could Have Been Designed By Jacques Tati

They must be making a remake of Jacques Tati's 1971 movie Trafic, where he designs an amazing recreational vehicle with popout seating from rear headlights, a barbecue in the front grille and an electric shaver in the horn. Why else would they pack a fridge, sink, barbecue and more into this Scion?

Tati's car had it all, but one must admit that this Scion packs a lot of living into a small space.

It has a pullout grill with entertainment system above;

A full kitchen sink with reverse osmosis purifier;

Even a cutlery drawer in the tail lights. Talk about efficiency! More images at Jalopnik. And why is this on TreeHugger? We love showing ways people design things for mobile living, that serve multiple functions, and take up less space.

But it really doesn't hold a candle to the original.
