Michael Pollan's Food Rule #20 is "It's not food if it arrived through the window of your car". But then he doesn't drive the Kitchen Sink Cadillac, which has everything you need to eat food, not too much, mostly plants, or whatever else your back seat chef wants to whip up. It has a toaster, cutlery holder, hot plate, refrigerator and "yes, the kitchen sink."

The New York Times notes that the appliances in the 1956 Caddy are not all working any more:

The secret code for the built-in safe still works -- and no,[owner] Mr. Modlinger did not reveal it -- but items like the sink and hot plate will require restoration.

"Personally, I'd love to get the toaster working again," Ian Kelleher, president and chief operating officer of RM Auctions, said in a telephone interview.

Just think, if it had composting, one could put in a waste-to-fuel system and essentially run it on dinner. More in the New York Times
