The Youth Bike Summit 2012: Forming the Next Generation of Bike Activists

The 2012 Youth Bike Summit in New York City is ais a "three day gathering geared toward youth, bicycles, education, and advocacy." It's the kind of event that educates the next generation of bike activists from all around North-America, and it helps them compare notes and figure out what the best practices are. The video above was shot by our friends at Streetfilms and it's heartwarming to see so many young people get involved in bike activism!

The event is organized by Recycle-a-Bicycle, a community-based bike shop and 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (here's how you can support them).
