The Latest from MIO: Flatpack Pop-Up Bike Baskets

Another year, another great new product from MIO, who we have been covering since TreeHugger started. This year they offer these clever flatpack bicycle baskets. It is part of their "Design on the Go" series of pop-up products.

It ships flat; you just pull it up and it expands into a basket. I worry a bit about its durability, but when I asked Jaymi about what happens when you bash it into something he said "just push it back into shape." Try that with a traditional basket.

The holes are rather large too, but it would hold bags nicely. Not yet online at MIO CULTURE
