A Bike Ride with San Francisco's Police Chief (Video)

Cyclists Shouldn't Be "The Others"
Our friends at Streetfilms got the San Francisco police chief to take a bike ride with them and members of the San Francisco Bike Coalition. It was short, but a historic first! It gave me an idea: How about starting a movement to try to get most police chiefs from cities big and small to ride around with bike activists. Some of them might already be cyclists, but I bet that most have trouble understanding the kind of problems that cyclists face because they haven't experienced them. If we are to green our cities, cycling needs to be seen as normal, and having law enforcement better understand the situation would go a long way. Via StreetFilms.
