Lindsey Lake, New York

Lindsey was born and raised in New York, and currently resides in the small upstate village of Ellenville. Lindsey is obsessed with all things tech, science and web related, and spends her "days" designing and programming for the web. Lindsey loves using PhotoShop to create web graphics, and is a focused designer who uses XHTML, CSS and web standards in her designs.

Lindsey has earned credits towards her English and IT degrees from the local SUNY college and Marist College of Poughkeepsie, NY. When not helping her favorite blogging crew at Treehugger, Lindsey spends time working on DIY projects that range from cross stitching, creating her own (and her children's) clothing, knitting and crocheting, wood working and much more. In her spare time Lindsey helped found and organize her local writing group "Stroke of the Pen", who publish the creative writing magazine "Insights" bi-annually.

When not glued to her laptop Lindsey spends her time with her family: her best friend David, four year old son Mason, and soon to be born daughter Winter (1/15/06).
