Christine Lepisto, Berlin

Christine Lepisto has had the good fortune of developing her childhood love of math and chemistry into a career revolving around corporate environmental responsibility coupled with realistic economic competitiveness. She has developed new materials recovery processes, implemented waste reduction projects to reduce waste by over 90 percent at a former number one chemical toxic release site in the United States, satisfied community concerns when seeking permitting to start an activated carbon recycling plant, and now works for an environmentally friendly company which is a leader in creating cutting-edge processes for printed circuit boards, automotive and other industries. Christine is also quite pleased with her husband of nineteen years and their two charming daughters. They all live in a rehabilitated neighborhood in Berlin along with their capricious dog Molly and her hobby of choice remains watercolor painting.
